What is Myopia?
Myopia (or nearsightedness) is an eye focusing problem that is estimated to affect over 1.6 billion people worldwide. People with myopia see near objects clearly, but far objects appear blurry. More and more people are suffering from myopia as children now are spending more time on digital devices, reading books and watching TV. At the same time, they are spending less time involved in outdoor activities. Therapies to manage and treat myopia have become more common, with more kids are diagnosed with myopia each year. Without myopia management therapy, myopia may progress and can eventually lead to vision loss
